Dr. Wagner is a native of Northern Virginia, and also spent fifteen years in Nebraska. He completed his undergraduate degree in Dentistry at the University of Nebraska, with minors in both business and economics. He also completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree there.

After graduation, he moved back to Northern Virginia and established a practice in Arlington, where he practiced for over twenty years. He relocated to the Fair Oaks Area in 2007.

Dr. Wagner has been very active in professional dentistry associations, including the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Virginia Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He has served on numerous committees over the years. In addition, he is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization dedicated to promoting continuing education. Dr. Wagner is a Past President of the Virginia Chapter. He has completed over one thousand hours of continuing education. 

Dr. Wagner has completed the Continuum series with the Pankey Institute, one of the premier dental training centers in the country.

Dr. Wagner is particularly interested in cosmetic dentistry, periodontal treatment, and TMJ therapy. He is proud to be one of the few offices in this area to offer CEREC® CAD/CAM long-lasting porcelain restorations.

In his free time, Dr. Wagner has traveled extensively throughout the country. In addition, he enjoys golf, bicycling, reading, and politics. He has performed with the Arlington Metropolitan Chorus for many years, and also enjoys spending time with his family.
